Problem with reporting bugs

Before there were options to report bugs/suggestions on any game, now you can only open a report on a currently open game. BUT there's a catch! The drop down menu with open games doesn't even include all of my open games...

Am I really the only one who can't report bugs properly at the moment?

If you can see the same issue, please upvote the report: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=217712

Also games which you are currently not playing?

You always needed a table ID to open a report about a game, they never let you just pick a game name.

Now, there's a new menu that saves the trouble of finding and copying and pasting a table ID, if you want to select one of your currently open tables. But you don't have to use that, it's just for convenience. You can still get a table ID from any table of any game, and paste it in, like you could before.

Choose "About a game" and paste the table ID into the "... or insert it here" field.

Correct. No issues. As Cos- said, you just need to type in a table number.

I see know. I was a bit confused that, for suggesting an improvement for the game in general, I was required to find and add table number of a game. And because it didn't show all active tables I, for some weird reason, assumed that it needed to be an active game too.

Seems like suboptimal UX design to me.

Another weird (new?) feature is that the comment field is not optional, even though you have explained it all in the main field.

So I guess yeah.. "It's not a bug, it's a feature." 🙄

No, not new. Someone at some point made that field mandatory even though it really doesn't need to be. Just put a . or N/A or whatever you feel like in that box and move on.
