Archeologist sponsor card should be banned for Commercial Harbor Map.
It is strong card for sure, but on Commercial Harbor map it's just too much to handle. it's giving oponent to use X2 bonus 4 times, which is way too OP. comparing to yourself - it's like 3 extra moves for oponent which is not fair.
I'm not against this card in general, only for Commercial Harbor map. What do you think?

Archeo on Harbour is very very strong, but banning it would not be a good idea. It will be the start of a slippery slope where "(Card A + Card B) or (Card A on Map X) or (Card A with Project Y) is too strong so let's ban the combo"

Bans/Variant and all such things will only be available if they are supported by the publisher.

Asking for this or making suggestions on the BGA forums is therefore useless.

It's extremely strong, but I am on the fence about a ban. There are quite a few combinations in this game that can feel broken at times. I would love to see some stats on how often someone who plays Archeo during round 1 on Commercial Harbor ends up winning the match. That would be interesting.

Agricola revised would agree with him. Lookout specifically gave a green light for a community based banlist
