Turn timer for quality of async game improvement

I hate it when I come back and the game has been waiting on my input, with no other options/decisions to make other than retardant my turn of confirm ending it.
9 times out of 10, I didn’t realize the game was going to be waiting on me, so I hate confirm, but by then I’ve wasted all that afk time not realizing I was holding everyone else up.
Is it possible to add a confirm timer like many other games have?
Does anyone else run into this inconvenience?

I am not sure to follow you if you are playing async, you should get an email/notification that you need to do something, no ?

I guess when you receive the notification, open BGA, make your turn but forget to confirm - then you'll never get a second email saying it's still your turn. The problem is with making a turn and forgetting to click "Confirm" afterwards

But how does that happen ? You still have the big red title saying it's your turn, you still have the spinning icon in the browser, you get a warning if you try to click "go to next table". So how does people just "forget to confirm" ??

I presume (I don't have this personally) they just close the browser tab ignoring red titles

This is a setting that you can choose: In the "Settings" -> "Gameflow" you have 3 different "Turn Confirmation" settings: enabled, disabled, enabled with timer. Have you tried the last "enabled with timer" setting?
