Board Game Arena

In a lot of games, when your cursor stops over something, there is a pop-up that shows relevant information or an enlargement of the image.

I find this function can be very handy, except sometimes it lingers and is in the way and can't be moved.

Do others find this annoying? My attempts to search for discussion of it failed.

Does it go away if you click the tooltip, or click outside it? Some games that works.

I like when they stay, but only if they close nicely when tapped.

I'm not sure what you mean by "click the tooltip." There is nothing on the lingering pop-ups that can be clicked to close them. They do not go away when I click elsewhere.

I have this same issue often, mainly on mobile. Reloading the page works, but is annoying. I wish they would simply add a general function that popups goes away when clicked

Relieved to hear I'm not the only one. It's so frustrating. Just put an "X" in the corner of the pop-up.

In some game(s) I play, if you see a pop-up, you can click it (on desktop) or touch it (on mobile) to close it. In these cases, it may not matter where you click or touch, as long as it is inside the pop-up.

Without knowing which game is doing this, it is hard to know for sure.

It is multiple games, and as I said earlier, clicking on the pop-up itself or elsewhere on the screen does not close it.

Sorry, I only saw "They do not go away when I click elsewhere" so I was not sure if you had clicked the pop-up itself.

What is the name of one of these games? Do you have a screenshot (e.g. pasting on snipboard.io)? So far I cannot reproduce this behavior, so I want to be sure I am trying a game you saw it in.
