I agree......the new version does not allow one to view the board of your opponent without scrolling down. Many of my game decisions are based upon the details of my opponent's board. Constant scrolling interferes with the experience of playing this game.

(developer here) Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier.
I've just added a zoom control (upper right of the board area) that hopefully mitigates some of the issues you experienced, in particular, seeing multiple player boards without scrolling.
