I’m not aware of a filtering mechanism, but bear in mind that those values are filled in by the developer and not through any sort of objective process, and that the default value is 3 and some developers just don’t bother changing that.
A lot of people instead look at a game’s Elo ceiling… how high is the highest player? (This is also partially dependent on the player pool size, admittedly.) If you look at, say, Terraforming Mars which has a significant “luck of the draw” element to it, but the highest-ranked player is near 900, indicating a high degree of strategy and the luck element having less of an effect.

I was just about to suggest this! I want to try out new games but I'm looking for something specific, like high interaction.

I'd like to add my vote to this feature request. I'd like to be able to filter out games with high degree of luck or low interaction, etc. when searching for new games to try out.

The funny thing is, there is no feature request because it hasn't been entered in the bugs/suggestions feedback system like the pinned post for this sub-forum tells you to do. Had that been done, you could literally vote on it in the feedback system.
