The turn timer should give you small increments of time back when you play an action. Especially late game i have been kicked out, because i did not have enough time to complete all my actions in time. While being i the leed hurting both karma and ELO while I was actively playing and not stalling.

Looks to me like your opponents were easily able to keep up with the clock and you kept drifting lower … and lower … and lower … maybe real-time Catan on the fastest setting isn’t for you? You’ve had issues getting skipped in that configuration in the past, too. Maybe switch it down to “normal”?
