What do you mean 'penalized' ?

Did you lost karma after the game finished, or was it a mistake in the scoring ?

The notice about penalties tends to be quite late, and you'll often see it after playing some other game...

It was a karma penalty and I already received the penalty for the other game. Please check. I'm not making this up.

Nobody has said you are making anything up. But I do believe you may well be mistaken. There is no sign of you quitting or being expelled from that game and thus no karma penalty in that game.

Can you tell us what makes you think you got a karma penalty from that game?

I got the "Oops" message straight after the game, telling me I had received a karma penalty.

I've gotten that "oops" message a full week after the game in question ended.

As was said above, sometimes the message comes well after the game where the penalty is actually being applied, such as when you next connect to BGA. Come to think of it, it almost never happens immediately after you get kicked out because the game waits for the other players to either finish the game or all leave, and it takes a bit of time for that to happen. It was just a coincidence that the notification coincided with finishing another game.

We cannot check your karma or penalty history. In the Reputation tab in your profile there's a link to your penalties "on 400 recent games" (as of now), but only you can see the list, we only see there were 4 left games and 6 overtime. Does table #855621890 appear there?

How many times did you get such message after being expelled in the other table? If it's only once, it probably refers to that one.
Did your karma actually go down after #855621890 finished? We can only see it's 85 now, but not what it was before. You'd also get a -10 elo penalty when you are expelled from a game, it does not look like you got that.
