Proposal: Add an optional Readiness Confirmation Between Rounds

Hi.
I'm not sure whether my proposal is worth the effort so I want to discuss it with you first.
If I play The Gang in the real world the convention we established a convention to start taking chips after we all signaled that we are ready and now focused on it. I know it is not absolutely necessary, but if someone misses some action on the table things can become more difficult.
On BGA there is currently no option for this. In the Standard mode I don't think its not a major issue. Its just about everyones own focus and maybe also their Internet connection.
However if you're playing in a difficulty mode where the Challenge and Specialist Cards are included and you don't know every card by heart you have to take your attention away at some point to read the newly drawn card(s). These cards could be important this round. In the meantime you might miss important action on the table or fail to do some important by yourself. This might not decide the round or the game, but its at least unfortunate.
So maybe its a good idea to include a phase between the drawing of new cards (playing cards as well as Challenge and Specialist Cards) and the start of the next chip-taking round. During this phase everyone can read the newly drawn cards and confirm to start the next round.
I know that some players, especially experienced players, don't need this feature. For these players there could be a player connected setting to automatically confirm readiness, so they don't get annoyed by having to confirm every round.
What are your opinions, experiences and thoughts about this?
I've personally had situations where this at least felt awkward and where I had to "repair" some of my missed actions.
