I know someone is cheating in a specific game.

they are high in the elo ranking as well as Arena ranking - continuously stealing points from others.
besides warning other players in private chat to not play with that player - what should I do to report them to the BGA staff?

In what way are they cheating? Playing multiple accounts?

How do you know this for certain?

their results in this game are statistically impossible without forbidden tools.
I wrote with someone who knows the game well, and they said the same. including they mentioned at least 2 other players know this person is cheating.

can someone answer the original question, please.

Click on the player's name and look at the top right. Report This Player.

95% of players who come to the forums to say this are wrong. It is very very rare someone makes an accusation of this sort and is right (which is why calling players out by name is punished). You can report someone but think very hard and look in a mirror before you do (and if your immediate response is to say that obviously you are right, its almost guaranteed you are wrong).

And you need to conclusively show actual evidence of cheating. Pointing at rare events and saying “this can’t happen” is not the right tack, and often completely wrong. On a site this big, rare events happen several times an hour. (E.g. in another thread someone was complaining their opponent rolled doubles in backgammon 9 times in 20 rolls… the odds of that happening are 0.28%… or 1 in 351. With the number of backgammon games played on this site, that is allllll the time.)

Also, you need to be able to explain yourself and show the proof of cheating to someone who has no idea how to play the game. With 1200+ games on this site, the chances the moderator know your game (unless it’s one of the top 20 games on the site) are probably pretty low. Make it easy on them.

If you suspect someone is cheating and can provide facts / proofs, you need to report them via the designated tool using the /support page.

The BGA moderators will review your claim and act if necessary.

I went to the designated tool which is basically the "Report bad behavior". When I went to report the specific player and selected that the player helps another player to win, then I got the message "The best way to combat Kingmaking is to give the Kingmaker player a red thumb (public red thumbs). There is no use filling in a report here: please give a red thumb to the one who made the kingmaking moves.". The thing is that this happens only in arena mode helping one particular player accumulate a huge amount of elo points, even though his overall presence in the game does not suggest that he is that strong. If you want you can contact me to share more info on my suspicions, but giving another red thumb does not solve the issue in my opinion.
