Board Game Arena

I'm relatively new to Planet Unknown and I am wonder why I didn't get 3 points for the largest row (the 7th row from the top) that I completed with a 1x1 green tile at the end of the game. Is this the result of a choice I made at the beginning of this game or am I missing something else? To me it looks like this 7th row is complete but I didn't get the 3 points. I also noticed that there are some more rows and columns which contain a meteorite, is it correct that I didn't get points for these rows and colums because there were meteorites in them?

Yes, correct.

OK, that answers that question. The other thing that is not explained in the tutorial is your starting configuration. At the beginning of a new game I get the message:
" You must choose your setup KSB-4156|Universal Coalition| "
When I select the green button KSB-4156 the text below it says "Score medals for every complete row and column."
When I select the green button Universal Coalition the text below it says "Advance your trackers to gain benefits, unlock milestones, and score the highest medal your tracker covers or surpasses"

I understand the part below that where I can choose one of two personal goals. But so far I didn't notice any difference in the scoring of a game after choose between the KSB-4156 and the Universal Coalition configuration. Can anyone explain the difference to me?

Edit: I play the basic game without companies, only with the private goals.

These aren't different configurations, it's the pick of planet and the pick of corporation. But with basic only, there's only one option of each. So the buttons are a bit confusing, really.
