Documentation for options?

Is there any place the options for a game are documented? E.g., I was looking at the options for Agricola, which includes "Snake opening" I found out what it was by searching the forums, but is there a better place to look?

Unless the dev documents it by putting a description under where you select the option, if it's not documented in the rulebook itself you are often stuck with looking for it in a search engine.

However, in this case the dev DID put a description under the option. If you select that option it shows this underneath:
Each player starts with 3 food. In round 1, each player’s second person is played in reverse turn order.

That's unfortunate.

I had to enable it to see that, which makes a certain sense, but didn't occur to me.

Thanks!

The internal rules summary page is a wiki page that could be edited to include this information. You could put it there.
