Has anyone else had errors when loading alpha games? I thought initially that it was specific to Nucleum, but the same thing happened when getting into Luthier as well. I occasionally get an error when loading the game, and have to refresh one or several times in order to get in. I had submitted a bug for Nucleum, but I'm now considering submitting a general one for the site.

Not one you are describing but I had some bugs with opening alpha game tables connected to game group page.
When I had opened alpha game real-time table (that happened in 2 different games) , and I went to alpha game group that table changes to TB table on its own. I never reported it because it was alpha game and before BGA staff would do something about it (if ever) that game would be full release for a year or more.

The whole site has been very iffy (server:503) the last couple of days.

I have all of 1 alpha game on the go, but haven't experienced anything specific to that game not working correctly.

I tried to spectate one of your Nucleum game, and what is strange is it sometimes it works, sometimes it fails, so for now I would say to just refresh until it works
I'm checking what can provoke that, but there is no obvious answer so far.

That's not a bug, all alpha games run only in turn based "friendly" mode, with no timer. And you can quit them at any time with no penalty since them being in alpha means there might still be breaking bugs.

Yeah, that happened to me too, to go in with no issues. I saw the bug was marked as fixed, will check later. Curious if this repeats for Luthier. It's strange to have it happen after the outages on both alpha games I'm playing.

Sorry but you are mistaken. Both of those games WERE running in real-time mode. Yes in "friendly" mode to, as all alpha, but there was still distinction between TB and RT games. I have them in game history.

If I didn't go to game group, that table stayed real-time, was seen in lobby real-time part, and started as, and was played as real-time. Therefor was blocking to start other real-time games. It only changed on its own when I tried to get to game group while having open table.

I forgot to answer here but the issue was found and fixed
