ordering discard cards

can someone tell me how to order the discard cards? I can choose what to keep, but can't order the discards, even though the text says you can do it. Thanks in advance!
Once you've selected a card to keep, it is set aside from the rest (to the left).
Now click any two of the other cards to swap their places with each other in the order. You can do this as many times as you like.
They will be placed on top of the discard pile in order from right to left (so the card furthest to the LEFT will end up on TOP).
