Board Game Arena

Not sure what to make of this. I start a game, I am set up to "host" it. Someone joins the game and then moves my icon to the right. I am NO LONGER hosting the game and I am playing their map, and set up. How do I prevent this from happening? I happens every so often, but enough to be very irritating. The map and set up are not close to what I had set up.

Make sure you don't have arena selected because in arena you can't choose any settings.

You have selected to play a lived game while hosting a game at the same time.

You were chosen to join another's game while waiting others to join yours. You were SELECTED not "BUMPED!"

What Lytical says is probably what happened, but to answer the follow-up question of how to prevent this from happening… I’d probably start the game from the “old lobby”. There are three menus across the top; set the right-most one to “manual” and find TM on this page. (If it’s not in your Favorites you may have to use the search box under the Favorites section.) There will be a button under TM that either says “N tables available” or “Play now!”. Whichever it says, click it and you’ll have an option to create a new table. If you create the new table there and obviously don’t click “join” on any of the other tables, it should have the desired effect.

How are you currently creating the table?
