Hi, I didn't know where to post this, but I got a newsletter email that had a link to a BGA survey, but it was in French. Did everyone get it in French, or is there an English version to take? (I don't speak French)

The French are known for being terrible in English. You're probably better off using Google translate than to have a French person attempt to translate the questions.

To be fair, I've seen a few French people on here who can write in English well enough, but we are probably part of the top 1% percentile, haha.

If you even suspect this might be true, the prudent thing would be to search the forums, or maybe even just have a casual glance at the first page. You’d see the answer was “yes, everyone got it in French.”

While I do agree that searching the forums first would be a good idea, I also find these two posts being right next to each other a little bit funny.

I got it in English.

Nor did I. I see it was mentioned as being part of the newsletter, so that explains it for me. I've had that turned off since day one as I didn't want spam containing in part, in their words "information from partners".

I'm puzzled why they didn't make it a news post for all (who are actually on the site) to see, like the periodic surveys to vote on best game in category x.

Ah, I actually looked through different forum topics to see if it was discussed, but I only skimmed the top posts as I assumed that everyone got the email on the same day, 17th. So I didn't look at posts older than that date, my bad.

This should have been fixed. Can you tell me when you received the survey, as there were 2 waves?
