I understand it can be frustrating to lose a game from a winning position sometimes but that does not allow anyone to hurl abuses at you on chat. I have faced this issue many times including today when my opponent lost and started hurling abuses.

There have been cases where people had hurled racial abuses at me just because of my nationality. I love playing 7 wonders duel but this is something that pains me.

My immediate reaction to such people is a befitting reply, which is obviously not an abuse, followed by a thumbs down. I can understand people getting frustrated and commenting on chat but abuse/racial abuse is not acceptable.

How to deal with such opponents? Do you also get abuses or racial abuses on chat?

This is not acceptable.
Can you report those players ?
A woman player told me, a few weeks ago, she suffered about sexist remarks...

I do not know how to report the player. That person is still responding to my chat with abuses in French.

As far as I understood the red-thumb-thing, you cannot receive any message from the red-thumb-player. Can someone confirm that or did I misinterprete this? This could be an immediate action not to be bothered again by this player, the long-term action is of course reporting this violation to the admins.

On every player's profile is a very prominent button that says "Report this player." You should do it.

I did red thumb the player. But was still getting abuses on chat. Not sure how this works then. The player is offline now I guess else they would have responded to my reply.

It’s only happened to me once in 1,000 games. LOL it was in French and I had to look it up.
