Lobby and games don't load on my laptop.

Hello to all,
I posted this on the bug forum but I wasn't sure if that was the right place.
I'm having trouble with the site on my laptop.
When I load BGA on my laptop, it starts the home page correctly and I log in fine.
When I try to go to the "Play now" or start a new game section the browser halts , moves at really slow speed and I am forced to close it. I play lots of other browser based games and this is the only website that this problem appeared. I have the latest edition of java and chrome. I have also cleared my cache. I also have javascript enabled on ym Chrome Privacy settings.
On my PC at work , which has much worse hardware, it loads perfectly fine.
Any suggestions?
