Twilight Imperium 4th Edition is a classic science fiction strategy game of diplomacy and warfare. Each player uses one out of 17 unique factions, each with its own technologies and powers.

Please note that premium BGA accounts can use all 17 factions, and free accounts can use the 6 recommended factions from the rulebook (Hacan, Jol-nar, Xxcha, Sol, Letnev, N'orr).

Finally, please note that Twilight Imperium 4th Edition is a very long game. It could take 6 hours in real-time to play a full game, so you should only start a real-time game if you are confident you have a large amount of time. If all players agree, players can vote to convert real-time games to turn-based games,.

I could never find anyone to play in person. I'm pretty much terrible at the game still, but I've been playing for six months or so and the advancement is more than noticeable.

Thanks for the kind words, and humongous is definitely accurate. At the moment, it contains over 97,000 lines of Javascript and over 62,000 lines of PHP, to say nothing of CSS.
