Hi to you game lovers!
Is there any chance they would add Cascadia and Sagrada to the BGA?
Is there a reason they haven't done it yet? Like legal conflicts or something?
Have a happy game night!

There is a thread specifically for suggesting games (
Games wanted for BGA / Jeux demandés sur BGA)
pinned to the top of the Suggestions forum. I hope that helps.
Getting a game on BGA not only requires legal clearance, but also getting a developer to take on the project. The bulk of game development is not done by BGA employees. And if there is a problem with clearance, that is not a public discussion, so anyone not privy to those discussions would be speculating.

Thanks for the reply. The reason I didn't post it there was I knew there are suggestion for those games already. Sometimes it is announced that for this particular reason we can't add this or that.
So that's why I posted this thread. And for the developing part, I'm pretty sure it is already done and could be done for such games in a split second. So I think it is the legal thing after all. Such a shame!

It's "already done" where? And do you have any hands on experience with any kind of software development? BGA has a very specific development framework. Even if it has been implemented somewhere else, it's not just a matter of refactoring the code to port it to BGA.

No idea about Cascadia, but for Sagrada this is the info available in the studio:
Unfortunately, this license is not available.
Publisher is not interested for the moment.
So if you wish to see this game on BGA, contact the publisher, Floodgate Games.
In terms of implementation, there are 2 projects in the studio for this game,
and one of them, the most active, is managed by the publisher themselves.
So yeah, it's just a matter of convicing the publisher.

Thanks for the info! I didn't know that! And by
Studio what do you mean exactly if I might ask so?

You can get a Studio account and develop games yourself.
