Paint job instead of real fixes

Yes I'm grumpy old dwarf and I will criticize, again.
It would be nice if instead of another paint job, changing colors and fonts, BGA staff do real fixes, and improvements. Addressing real problems, bugs, concerns, questions, propositions, rethink of page policies, etc. .
Especially when those paint jobs "by coincidence", happens at same time when game in progress page bug (
https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=227544), forum bug (
https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=227540), and many tables/games crashes.

I thought that font thing was a bug. It looks so bright you can't even read.

Bugs usually makes something not work, not add something

. I saw similar font in Altay game before, but now it is many other, that until yesterday didn't had that. And yes for me its hard to read too. It's too artistic, too fancy. What is point of that in nick anyway.

The new glowing blurry usernames are a bad, bad idea. Install the BGA extension everyone, to revert to the classic colors! Until the site itself repairs the damage they've done, let us hope, ok, it's for free.

Agreed. It's hard to read usernames with the glow.

I just noticed in a galactic era game that 3 of the 5 player colors have the glow in the player panels (did they selectively fix just certain colors, but left the rest blurry?), but in the chat box, it's the exact opposite. The 2 without the glow, have the glow (and are hard to read).
It's getting comical...
