Hello, it is good to see Double Seven in BGA!

According to the English rulebook, a player can discard 2 tiles from their tray and take 1 "different" tile from the Reserve. However, on Arena, the system allows a player to take back one of the two tiles they just discarded. In practice, this essentially functions as simply discarding 1 tile.

This discrepancy creates a massive difference in the flow of the game. For instance, if a player has 2 tiles left on their tray and only one of them cannot be attached to their family, the BGA method allows them to (effectively) discard that one unplayable tile and attach the remaining one to empty their tray. Because of this, average scores on BGA seem to be significantly higher than in the physical tabletop game.

Which is the correct and official rule?
