Is ELO ever restored after a bug?

I don't want to keep playing if my ELO is incorrect, but also it doesn't seem like they care to fix it.

I'm alienoid and roll 5 !s and one destruction, I chose destruction for the !s it just skips it.

I reported the bug right away, but do they ever actually do anything?

I wouldn't count on it.

Your elo is "incorrect" when you play your first game. Your elo is "incorrect" when you have a winning (or losing) streak. Your elo is "incorrect" after you play against a player with a "incorrect" elo. Essentially, your elo is always incorrect, it's only the long-term average (mind, not the peak) that's meaningful, and the best way to help it being meaningful (and make glitches like this insignificant) is to keep playing, and play a lot.
