This game does have a built in solo mode , its a shame its not included currently , any chance it may be included in the future?

The developer intends to eventually make it available. You can see that because the multi-handed option is showing.

Yes, I've done most of the work to implement support for both the official solo rules and for multi-handed play (which you can also use for solo, if you prefer). I disabled those options to make things simpler while we were trying to get the game into beta, but it's very possible that they'll be back at some point in the future.
