Board Game Arena

I just bought my wife Premium and her account is having an issue. There are several games we play where she gets an error trying to perform an action even using the same exact browser and computer that I use and I don't get an error.

The biggest one is with Knarr. Everytime we start a game together and she tries to recruit she gets a red banner across the top of the screen with the message "Unexpected error: Error while processing database request (reference: GS14 02/07 15:43:00)"

When we play The Guild of Merchant Explorers she is unable to explore ruins.

How do I report this issue, since it is clearly just with her account and not with the game itself. I can't seem to find any support email.

The website has had many stability and uptime issues lately. It is possible the site just randomly decided to have issues the same time your wife was playing.

I think that's right. I've occasionally got the same mistake while translating over the last few days. I have now opened a general bug report on this you can vote for: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=229170

Is there any IP/network tracking that could be causing an issue, something to prevent users from making throwaway accounts that we're getting caught in?

It seems to be specific to her account. Every time we start Knarr she has that problem of not being able to play a card. It could be a combination of her account and Knarr.

Did this issue disappear after some time? Or are you still facing it? My wife has same issue with another game. Tried varios devices and browsers (even VPN) - still nothing.

this time trying my first game of cribbage.

i do report game bug, but i really doubt its game issue.

too many people play cribbage.. so like the OP asked, how best to investigate these issues?

That's why the report mentioned above is not for a specific game, but for the BGA general website. But with only 2 votes, we won't get any attention from the website developers. Again, I ask you to add your information and vote for that report!
