Seasons Tableau Shuffle

Does anyone know why the cards in your Seasons tableau (played cards) shuffle around and change positions during the game? I've always wondered if there is any logic or meaning to this movement.

I would LOVE to know an answer to this, too! I posted the question a few months back but never received a response:

It can be quite confusing when you are having to find the three cards you can activate and they're in completely different spots every turn.

Maybe it's because you pressed f5 during the game. When you do, cards are reordered (objects/familiars)

No, they reshuffle without f5 being pressed. Sometimes you'll play a card and the tableau will shuffle, some cards moving forward in the order, others toward the back.
