Sprint values

I don't know the game, playing here for the first time, but the rules say that when you sprint, there is a number on the back of the card to show how far you sprint (+1 or +2). Should this value be displayed on a card in hand (and the top card of each deck)? Because I can't see it.

And no sooner do I post and return to the game that I spot footprint icons on each card! I assume this is the sprint value, but it would be good if the rules said this, rather than +1 or +2.

Also you can know the sprint value from the number (odd vs even)

I might be wrong but i dont think the footsteps on the card backs are actually there in the physical game, therefor you shouldnt be able to see them on top of the draw piles.(In bga it will show 1 or 2 footsteps for a played sprint card).

BGA does NOT show footsteps to the detective. The amount you sprinted is completed hidden until the hideout is revealed.
