For many seasons we watch a champion win. Kudos to the player. A truly awesome player. What’s disappointing is to see a player using more than one account at the back end of a season to protect his position. Sad. Nothing will happen, reports go nowhere. But players who are genuinely playing…winning and losing…should know what they are up against.

Yes, where is this coming from ? It is quite obvious from this player's game history that there is no cheating involved. Considering they have played this game almost 4000 times with nearly 3000 victories, what do they have to gain from cheating ? That would be a lot of time dedicated that could be better spent honing their skills ! Additionally, by again taking a moment to scan their profile, you can see they play against an incredibly varied amount of different opponents, so which account would be their other one ? I am sure anyone who has played them would agree to this assessment.

Hi. Making accusations without proof means nothing.
In this case, where is the evidence? Which multiple accounts are involved?
I think this accusation is unfair because Nils is simply the best MG player here, season after season. He doesn't need to cheat to win, and has no time to waste on that.
I know another player in particular who used to cheat this way in previous seasons, with kingmaking and using clearly identifiable multiple accounts (with specific profile markers and an easily recognizable playstyle), but Nils has nothing to do with that. Really.

Posting this on behalf of Nils Nils — he's currently unable to access the forum due to a technical issue, so he asked me to share this message for him.

"Since pdy33 also messaged me privately yesterday, accusing me of using multiple accounts and cheating in the game — without evidence and refusing to say which other accounts he thinks belong to me — this looks, to put it mildly, pretty ugly.
I already wrote him privately that I've always played fair, that I don't have any other accounts, and that honesty matters to me both in this game and in general.
Since he's decided to make this public, I think it's only fair to ask him to do the same: please state clearly which accounts you believe belong to me, and provide the evidence behind your accusation. Vague accusations without specifics or proof aren't fair to anyone."

I've known Nils since the Happy Meeple days and he is a really good player. There may be players with multiple accounts (honestly, no idea) but I can't imagine that Nils is one of them.

I have not seen any data that would make me suspicious about Nils Nils, and i checked some logs and history. I have played many great battles against him. As one of the highest ranked players, it would be my pleasure to analyse some games if there would be serious concerns about fake games. I believe he is simply both extremly good and very dedicated to Mountain Goats.

Some people just cant handle that others are better at a game than them
