Should there be an option to disable the Mercy rule?

Hello,

the "Mercy rule" states that during solo or 2-player games, if at the end of a match, one player has at least 11 more fans than their opponent, then the player wins the game even though the 7 matches have not been played. Some people find the rule too rigid as it prevents playing the game through the end, even though the 'losing' player might overcome their fan debt later.

One solution could be to implement a new option for the game in order to disable that rule for people that wish to (it would be disabled by default, meaning the rule would apply, as stated in the rules book). But in order to do that, we have to ask permission from the editor, and before contacting the editor, it would be best if this demand gathered support, which could have more weight in their decision.

So, if you are interested by this option, could you please vote for it here? If it gains traction, we may ask the editor to allow us to implement this option :)

If you have an opinion pro or against this option, maybe that would be best to post it on the link above (the ticket tracker), in order not to have this subject discussed in multiple places. I have posted this topic in the Challengers Beach Cup forum as well.

I would love the option to play all the way through, but I'm pretty sure this is the official rule for 2-player games, not some "mercy rule" or such.
