Arena spamming useful?

Hi, I'm new in Arena game.

Does someone who plays multiple games simultaneously in Arena mode have a better chance of quickly reaching the top of the leaderboard? (Assuming they win their games, of course.) It probably isn't much fun (it would drive me crazy!), but I'm curious to know if this is a common practice and whether top players are just good or if they choose to devote a lot of time to it.

Thanks

I feel it’s a mix.

If you play more games you are more likely to rack up points and a winning streak.

But if you play very well and crush your opponents you will rise with fewer games. :D

Why do you think playing them simultaneously would be significant?

If you play many simultaneous games, you can choose to finish first the games you're gonna lose, and then finish those you're gonna win, ending up with a winning streak and maximizing your gains.

Also, simultaneously playing games means more games played. It's tough to win Arena without playing a lot of games. I prefer to play only one at a time, turn based, so I generally do not get enough volume to win arena; I'll likely be stuck finishing 2nd-5th each season.

But you can't right, you have to take your turns in order.

Imo mass playing only gets you so far in Arena, like yes you've got to play a reasonable amount of games to reach your level, and have a chance to win, but there comes a point that you will mostly just be treading water at whatever your level is. Probably changes a bit at high luck games where really you're just looking to go on the luckiest run possible.

I think the majority of the games played happen when you are already near the top. For example, if the Arena champion is usually at 2000 points, it may take 50 games for a good player to get to 1900, but getting all the way to 2000 will probably take at least twice more games, because the gains become so small at this point. At this level, you probably need to win close to 95% of your games if you want to keep climbing. Considering the uncertainty of that, it makes sense that the players who play a ton of games would have higher chances of eventually reaching a streak that allows them to detach themselves from the pack. So it's a combination of being good enough to maintain such a high winrate, with some bit of luck to manage to maintain it for so long.

Maybe. I don't know how much flexibility you have, as I don't play turn-based or Arena :D
If not managing your turns, you can sometimes manage what you do in the game: concede or rush to game end to finish early, take useless turns to finish late.

I think it's the most pleasant way to play Arena indeed. I'll play only one game at a time, then try to be better than myself season after season :)

Because each league is a floor more games will help you reach higher leagues than someone of the same skill as you due to the win streaks.

At elite things are a bit different and I suspect there you'll probably settle around a value based on your winrate
