Winning means nothing in arena

I just won with a score of 41 and every single row in its own color. You'd think a score like that would've boosted me up into platinum from gold...but no, it earned me one notch closer to platinum and that's IT! What a ripoff!

I wouldn’t think any such thing. The size of your win never has anything to do with how much Elo you get or how much it advances you in Arena or anything like that. Winning by 1 is the same as winning by 100. When it comes to standings here (and, frankly, most places, including sports standings etc), you win or you lose and that’s that.

That's absolutely not true. Lots of games on here have weighted results for winning based on the difference in score and how the other player is ranked compared to you.

How the other player is ranked compared to you? Yes, absolutely, I never denied that.
But difference in score makes no difference. Your Elo will change exactly the same whether you win by 1 or by 100. Your ranking in Arena changes exactly the same whether you win by 1 or by 100.
If you still disagree, show me what you mean.
