Seeing what cards are below your highest number

Would it be possible to show how many cards are in a stack ( ie what numbers were skipped)
When using the tower you lose the topmost card, but sometimes this drops you 1 but if you paid coints to double ascent you might drop 2.
It's annoying this can't be seen beforehand.
EDIT: I just did this and lost the game on the spot. Wasn't even able to undo.
