Popularity

I love this game. I really think it deserves to be far more popular than it is, and at least as popular as it used to be.
I remember playing this game where you could queue up and almost immediately get a game, and then afterwards queue up again and get matched against someone completely different.

Now, you wait in excess of an hour; that is, if your tab doesn't go to sleep and shut off the queuing.

I would love to get this game's popularity up - but I have no idea how. And especially with the new expansion being released, it would be so good if we could get a BGA adaptation of that made and have enough people to actually play in real time.

Any suggestions?

P.S. I don't actually know if a BGA adaptation of Arthur's Legacy is being made or not, but I would really like to see one, and if we did get one, and it was posted in BGA news, that would help boost popularity.

Hey : ) I agree the game is great, and it deserves it (ex-)popularity.

For the waiting time, yes the game's play rate has first spiked and has been slowly dropping, but it did remarkably well for quite some time, which is an achievement already. There is still a community of people playing occasionally, and they're getting pretty good! But the amount of people has for sure went down.

For fixing it, nothing much BGA can do. The popularity was due to the board game's printed release, which drove a flock of people to BGA. Future popularity will also be foretold by the board next game's success (Arthur expansion). A fix could be either releasing the expansion world wide, which is planned, or making an ad, which cost money and needs to be transmitted.

As for the BGA adaptation of Arthur's legacy, all I can say is BGA rarely disappoints : )
