Who here needs an introduction to Terraforming Mars? No one? Sure? Let’s give it a shot anyway. Terraforming Mars is basically “build an economic empire while turning Mars into Earth,” and it’s one of the modern classics of strategy board gaming.

And here comes Terraforming Mars: The Dice Game! If you like the idea of Terraforming Mars but don't want a heavy strategy game, the Dice Game is for you. It is a card-driven dice game where players use special dice to develop their corporations and terraform Mars into a new home for humanity.

On each turn, you choose either a production turn or an action turn.

During a production turn, you may keep up to three resource dice, discard any unwanted cards, draw new cards, and then take and roll the dice shown in the production boxes.

During an action turn, you perform one support action and then one main action. A support action, for example, can be used to gain and roll a die. The main action can be used, but not limited, to pay resources to terraform Mars or gain victory points.

The game ends when 2 out of 3 global parameters (ocean/temperature/oxygen) have been completed. Then all players get 1 last turn. When the last turn is completed, BGA adds VP from Awards, Milestones, and cards to get your final score.

Develop corporations, play project cards, place cities, forests, and oceans, raise Mars’ oxygen and temperature levels, all simply by rolling dice.

Thank you to Jacob Fryxelius, the game designer, and to FryxGames, the publisher, for transforming the challenge of making Mars habitable into such an experience. Special thanks also go to BanBan for bringing the game to life on BGA and making every roll of the dice feel like a step toward a new home for humanity.

This was your Wednesday release.
Don’t forget the duct tape. Take care and play fair…

I am not pleased to be the only one bringing this up here on BGA.

Supporting TM or FryxGames in general means supporting people that are actively promoting the usage of generative AI by selling their latest TM themed game which is illustrated by using AI art.. AND are okay with sharing hateful/problematic views on equal human rigts. They have yet to make a public apology regarding Enoch Fryxelius's transphobic comments. For more information, see the many forum posts regarding the subject on BGG, for example.

Here's one link that covers a lot surrounding the controversy. https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/370744 ... ase/page/1

It seems like you are the agressor here
1. devs can use any art they want
2. they can have any views they want it's a freedom of speech
3. attacking someone and promoting others to do the same is hatespeech and bad nature

You come and accuse me of being the agressor instead of educating yourself about these serious allegations and finding out who the real agressors are? The purpose of my comment was not to throw some pointless slander on innocent people but to show that some of the people behind this game series are using their *freedom of speech* in a derogatory and discriminatory way. Please, go and read about these allegations and stop defending problematic behaviour.
