Require Games to disclosure AI Art

I recently noticed a game here that had obvious AI Artwork and it made me want to know what other games on this website are are made with generative "art".

I like that Steam makes game disclose if a game contains generative AI and I would like Board Game Arena to do the same with games that it as. So that people can make an informed decision on whether they wanted to play games with AI Art or not.

Games using AI Art is off-putting to me. Personally, I think its bad for the industry but other people would be fine with AI Art in games. I just want users to be told on a games page that it uses AI Art.

Strongly second this. Really disappointed that one of the featured games of summer, CATATAC, blatantly uses AI (I don't care if it's "trained on his own art," which is such a lack of understanding of AI). In addition, if BGA won't outright prevent adding these titles, I'd like to be able to hide those with an AI flag by default.

I saw that explanation and to be honest I didn't understand if itmade it less unethical. It sounds like you have a better understand of how AI works than I do. Why does that explanation not hold up?

Even if it actually was less unethical, I still wouldn't want to play a game with AI Art. I don't want to support games with an AI look.

Either way, I dislike AI "Art" and seeing that game made me wonder how many other games on BGA are using AI art. Some might be better at being less blatant. It has made me suspicious of newer games on BGA. And I think a lot more people would like to know in advance if a game contains AI Art or
ONLY Human Made Art.

Totally support this, there is no way we can allow AI generated games or art here on BGA, these games are designed by humans and drawn by humans, and it must stay that way. tired of GenAI getting in our daily life, I hope they take it down.

100% agreed. We deserve more transparency on what games are utilizing GenAI.

I agree, too. I want the maximum amount of transparency possible regarding the use of AI so I know what to avoid.

Heavily support this, heck, I'd even agree to a blanket ban on all board games that use AI

Strongly agree. A full disclosure and/or tag on games that use GenAI assets would be appreciated, a complete ban even more so.

I made a Bug Report - Site Suggestion to "Tell Users if a Game Uses AI Art" So if you agree please upvote and add a comment on it.

I suggest that the people who suggest a blanket ban of AI games make a suggestion. I'd agree with that too.
