Hello,
We're looking for an experienced and pragmatic DevOps Engineer to join our team.
The role
This is a fully remote position within European time zones.
You will join the Infrastructure team and work closely with the Lead Ops Engineer.
You will improve existing systems, design new services, and take projects from initial investigation through to production.
What you will do
Your responsibilities will include:
Our infrastructure currently includes:
We are not committed to a specific cloud provider or ecosystem. We select tools based on our needs, their reliability, and their ease of maintenance.
How we work
We prefer practical engineering decisions over adopting technology for its own sake.
New approaches are tested in isolated environments, either locally or on low-cost test servers, before being considered for production.
Infrastructure decisions are made within the team. When you identify a potential improvement, you will investigate it, evaluate the trade-offs, and help implement it.
You will be encouraged to question existing solutions when you have clear technical reasons for doing so.
Who we are looking for
You should be:
Experience with every technology in our stack is not required. We care more about your ability to understand systems and build reliable solutions.
Why join Board Game Arena?
You will work on the infrastructure behind a platform serving millions of board game players.
Because the team is small, you will work directly on production systems and contribute throughout the process, from initial investigation to implementation.
