Board Game Arena

It is difficult for new players to remember the meanings of all the symbols on the cards. The card descriptions tell you some things. I tried to teach a friend to play the game here on BGA and it went poorly. I'm not sure there is a solution, besides having the rules open in a second tab. Just curious if anyone else has had trouble learning the symbols and/or explaining them to others.
