What do you think of the red clue I gave for a reverse on the 1 MC? I got a lot of flak because nobody understood it.

1. Do not clue a 1m when you have three 1s in hand.

2. Use a different color if you want to target m.

He can discard his first card to show he understands and to simultaneously signal to me that the 1 mc is in my hand.

ur red clue means that 132T's leftmost newly touched card (slot3) is playable. that is not true, because r5 is NOT playable! therefore ur clue was wrong, and got misinterpreted by not one but both your teammates.

I see the most of players focus on leftmost newly touched card with color.
So Imo, does not work in most of the cases.
I ‘d play r5 immediately.
If r5 could be mc, then it could work but it would need a fix, so not that efficient
