Hi,
The star next to the player name is the score, right? Anyone knows how it is calculated in Quantum? Does it depend on the number of placed cubes and/or ELO rating? Does it affect the ELO gain or anything else?

Btw, the help or FAQ should probably mention what the star digit means, because there is no tooltip and nothing in the help about it. I guess if you play games with a score system, it's obvious but otherwise, it's really not. A simple tooltip would be great.

I believe those are the number of quantum cubes dropped, and nothing else. 5th cube dropped wins. Using that counter is also helpful to the programmer to check for game end, so it's not totally useless.

If ELO works in Quantum like it does everywhere else, your absolute score difference doesn't matter, just your position relative to your opponent(s)- you either win or lose. This is good because it keeps opponents from artificially extending the game to run up the score and keeps ELO weasels from running the score up to one million in a single game.

The score in Quantum is 1 for winner and 0 for the rest.

In game, the score only shows how many cubes you placed, but this doesn't affect ELO rate.
