Hey everyone,

does anyone know how I can select Cartographers: Heroes for my Arena games?

There is not a separate Arena for Heroes. It is considered a game option. Like other game options, the gurus for the game have to vote for it to be part of Arena. If they don't, it will not be a part of Arena. You can find the current season's options here by clicking on "See season rules."

As far as I understand the vote of the gurus for the current arena season it shall be able to select the game mode Heroes also for arena games which is not possible right now (atleast for me).

Setup Default Custom

Based on that shouldnt I be able to change the game mode to heroes even if I want to play arena?

If it had been implemented, you wouldn't need to "select" it. Heroes would be the only option. You'd have no more ability to select a different option than you could select a different player count than was implemented for Arena.

But you are mistaken. Here is the Season 27 change log found here:

Cartographers:
Game: "Cartographers" (prev: "Cartographers: Heroes")
Setup: "Custom" (prev: "Default")

This exactly matches what's shown under "Season Rules" that I gave the instructions for finding above.
