Autodestruction not turning oxygen tokens off ?

Hello,
I did a game where I had the personal mission requiring an information token and all oxygen token being turned off or deactivated. During the game, I got my information token and the autodestruction processus got activated, I managed to escape before the complex explodes but at the end of the game I didn't win because the oxygen token were still considered as activated.
I discovered this game few times ago when I went to see some friends, there had been an autodestruction during one of our game, and they did considered the oxygen deactivated, but I don't know if it was a homemade rule. I didn't found any specification about that in the rulebook neither but I may have missed it. In the rulebook it only says that all room are considered destroyed, so I think it's a bit strange that the oxygen tokens aren't considered deactivated since there isn't any complex anymore ?
Sorry if it's indeed said in the rulebook

Oxygen is not affected by Auto destruction. The reactor removes those, if you shut it down.

Yeah, technically, if you think about it, if the facility is destroyed, all rooms are destroyed, so we can interpret that the life support rooms cannot produce oxygen anymore, hence removal of the life support tokens.
However, my interpretation of the SHUTDOWN (name of the objective) card, is that all life support tokens removed or off implies that the facility should not be destroyed at all.
Shut the facility down, not blow it up is the goal.

But then wouldn't it be said clearly that the facility shouldn't be destroyed? If I remember correctly one or two mission specifically says that the facility must not be destroyed

This is one of the occurrences where thematic outcome is not aligned with rules outcome. When reactor is shutdown, you have directly mentioned to remove Oxygen tokens.
On Auto-Destruction it is only mentioned that All Intruders, All Rooms (incl. Nest) are destroyed (for the mission objectives).
The objective you had in that mission required you the effort to shutdown oxygen in whole base. Not only grab the token and escape.

Yes but why? I do know that reactor remove those. My question here is to know if the fact that autodestruction doesn't remove the oxygen token part of the game because it's specified in the rules or is it simply the interpretation of BGA (or even most of other players, I don't know how other players deals with it in their game IRL).
If it's indeed part of the rulebook, then ok, we stay with the vision of the creators. But if it's just personnal interpretation - meaning the people who made this game playable on BGA - we can question ourselves about why this interpretation and not the other and if it should/could be change or not.
As said previously for me since the autodestruction destroys everything in the facility, it should also affect the oxygen. When facility is destroyed all the egg, all the aliens, and every person in the hibernatorium are removed, so if it's affecting the tokens on the top layer of the facility why sparing the oxygen tokens?

It can be a miss from their side. I don’t see it mentioned in the errata doc as well. You can try asking in the AR discord. But if you check the room sheets document from AR, only turning them off one by one or turning off the reactor will make that mission pass.

This is by the Rules, you shouldn't assume that one place, where they do not mention oxygen tokens specifficaly, is an error.
