Euchre Arena doesn't need Platinum.

It's a long season and we'll see how it goes, but... I don't think we needed an extra level of grind. There's so much variance, I don't think it will actually change season dynamics much, it just makes it take longer to get to Elite and creates another unnecessary stratification next season when the elite start at Gold.
Even the best players still only win ~60% of the time. So having to win 80% of your games or just get lucky and string together a bunch of wins (again) doesn't seem beneficial.
Is this something that's automatic in BGA or is it a setting we might be able to turn off? Or put it to a vote with the gurus?
Honestly, in euchre, I think we'd be fine just having everyone start at elite. The player pool is small enough that everyone who plays ends up at elite anyway because the good players can't stay ahead unless they quit after a hot streak. The losses at the top are just too punitive.
