Wondering if a player can lose points if they bust?

Eg say your score is 127 in one round. Then, in the next round you bust. Can your score go down to, say for example, 118?

I’m asking since something like this happened to me.

Yes, if brutal mode is activated then score can go below 0 if you get hit with a minus card
