Skipped

W******* skipped me at the end of the game, when I needed just 1 second more. As I was clicking my last move, I got skipped. Unsportsmanlike, just because he was losing.
Someone commented this on a turn-based game.. Ever happened to you guys?

Well, I don't think that situation has ever happened to me just because I time out so rarely. But having been on the other side of the coin, I definitely agree that it's bad sportsmanship. I would never skip someone who is just barely over. Usually, if at all, I wait almost a week past their limit in turn-based... I get it that life gets in the way sometimes.

C'est la vie..

Anyway, there's one time in a turn-based game another player keep skipping my turns when i could get in on the game just because i had some red on my time.. All i know the game already ended. 'Tis not a system bug.. A human manipulative desire is at fault.

One cool thing about BGA, if I do what I agreed to do and keep in the time limits, for the most part, I get the privilege of playing in games normally. If I don't, I have absolutely no one to blame for any consequences except myself. I can't control anyone's behavior at the tables but mine, so I do my best not to give them the ability to skip me. If my actions keep that box popping up for them to possibly push, inevitably some of them will press it. Play faster, and avoid presenting moral hazards.

And thus the reason why it doesn't happen often.. :)

'Tis not a complain, merely stating some thoughts for the Architects to mull over.
