Join Vs Ready

I have been noticing that we really need to differentiate between joining and ready. Often when I a game can be played with more than two players, the table owner will pop the game as soon as he gets another person just to start. If you want to get a game with more players, you have to hope that this person doesn't do that. Sitting in the table without joining doesn't help. It would be better if we could join (indicating that we want to play in the match) but actually being ready (indicating we are willing to play with the current number of players) was a separate step.

Are you playing turn-based or real-time?

In turn-based, the game will not start until the required minimum number of players is reached (and 24 hours have passed since the table was created). So, look for tables where there is a minimum more than 2.

In real-time, the game doesn't start until all players accept playing. If you want more players, don't accept. It would be best to let the administrator know that you won't be playing with just 2 players, though, instead of timing out of accepting -- timing out with no explanation may lead to you being kicked from the table.
