What is "Yam", instead of Yahtzee?

I just joined and played in a Yahtzee room with a French player, but after starting I noticed there were all kinds of weird rules, like Plus, Minus... and the bonus point system was different.

Then after the game I saw that the "Yahtzee or Yam" toggle was set to Yam. I've been googling around for 10 mins and found nothing about this. Is this just a European way to play Yahtzee or what? Why is it called Yam?!

It's a French version of Yathzee, the game is the same with some adds like Rigole.

The french page of yahtzee in wikipedia has the rules of Yams...

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahtzee

The language is intuitive, believe me.

Weird that the almighty google didn't let you know, but all joking aside, it does seem really weird, but it isn't just French Yahtzee as you yourself said. Some of the rules are different.

@JohnnyDavids13: in fact, Terabapuno1 was just spamming to promote an external website with a link in his forum signature... (just removed it). Some spam keeps popping up, and I missed this one until your reply made me read it another time :)
