I am a beginner. I have opened a table to play, but also to learn. Result: my reputation is already damaged. This is unfair! Beginners should be protected. You have to give them time to practice.

Sorry about your bad experience but a couple things happened. First, beginners (for their first time trying a certain game) can't receive red thumbs. But, you played two games and abandoned both games of Seasons. That's generally quite rude to the other players. It's OK to not know a game and want to learn it. But trying joining a group like Game Tutors: http://en.boardgamearena.com/#!group?id=1111129

There are a lot of people there happy to teach games. Just ask. Additionally, if you want to learn a game, you can open a new table, turn ELO off and write in the notes section that it's just a learning game.

My experience on this site is that if you explain your situation, most people are happy to help out and work through a game.

But if you start games only to abandon them part-way through (especially if you don't say anything in the chat) then red thumbs will be likely.

I have not left the game voluntarily. The connection has been dropped.

The reality is that this site is flawed by it's design and often has more issues that are not a players fault, you'll get slammed for it and end up with all sorts of screwed up marks. Just ignore it and move on to the next account.

Yes. If this continues, I will open a new account. It is not correct, but I can not do anything else. Meanwhile, I will experience with the current one.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, Kaosmaster. You'll still find people to play against and if you play honorably, your reputation will quickly improve. Don't be discouraged. Keep on playing!

Really, if you play more (you starting the table), you will got more thumb up.
