Board Game Selection

Hey Folks, new to the site and I have to say the UI is a welcome change from vassal and other programs.

I was wondering if someone could fill me in on how the community here creates or acquires games? Do users submit game rules/boards? or is there a team that handles everything?

I did a quick run through your selection, and it looks like you have a few different titles but are missing a dozen or so real gems. Specifically Fantasy Flight games, AEG titles and some Z-man titles (except Stone age, which is awesome!).

Curious how new titles are added? and if folks are taking suggestions or if there are ways for users to help out to get more titles live to play?

There is the thread, "Games wanted for BGA" :)

But, as to actual implementation. BGA staff works with game publishers to get the rights to a game. Having random people pester them (either "them", the BGA staff or the game publishers) hampers the process. Once the rights have been acquired, the game is added to the list of games open for development.

The development is done by a purely volunteer group. Information on how to join this group can be found in the Developers forum.
