estimate of how long real-time games take

Hi. I posted an open question, no response so I hope this is the proper forum.

I haven't played in real-time. I'd like some idea of how long games played in real-time MIGHT be expected to take. Specifically, Race for the Galaxy, Puerto Rico.

Does anyone have a rough estimate? Alternatively, is there a record of games played/total 'real time'?

Race for the Galaxy is one of the fastest games on the site (befitting of its name, I guess!) It's average real-time length is 6 mins. Puerto Rico is more like 30 minutes. Obviously, these estimates vary based on number of players and player speed. You can see a site average for game speed on each game's overview page: http://en.boardgamearena.com/#!gamepane ... rthegalaxy

Well, one huge difference is setup time. Depending on how dexterous you are, it might take 10 minutes or more to set up Puerto Rico IRL. It also depends on who you play with and how much time they take to think. I have played with average to slow people and a 5-player PR game can take over an hour.
