We are happy and proud to introduce Bombay, an Indian "pick up & deliver" game from Cyril Demaegd published by Ystari Games.
In this game, you take the role of merchants riding upon elephants, building palaces, buying and selling silk. At the end of the game the richest player is the winner.
At your turn, you may use your 3 actions to move your elephant, buy silk at trading posts, or sell silk at cities. Each cities demands specific silk colors, and to maximize your profit you have to match these : you win 4 rupees for the most demanded color, and only for 1 for the least demanded.
In addition, silk price depend on colors available on the market : silk cubes on the left-hand market cost less rupees and less actions than the silk cubes on the right-hand market.
Finally, you can build palaces on the board, so that other players have to pay you every time they pass there.
Bombay is a really good, short, and simple game. Like every other Ystari Games production, it is also very well balanced and very interesting.
